很明显，这个题目，考的是文章的主旨。也就是说，出题者想知道你到底知不知道整篇文章在说什么。那我们就来看看这整篇文章是在说什么呢，第一段，讲的是二战使得美国的经济上升；第二段，提出由于经济上升的太容易，导致有竞争的时候，美国的经济又下降了；第三段，讲经济下降带来了什么后果；第四段提出正是因为有了下降导致美国开始反思和反省，然后又取得了好的成果。（大致就是这样，也许我概括的不是特别好）当理清了整篇文章大致在说什么的时候，你再来看看D选项，A long history of success may pave the way for further development. 长期的成功是未来发展的基础。除了第一句话里出现过long history of success 外，你在哪里还看到过整篇文章有提到过关于“长期成功”的问题呀，更何况，人家第一句话里还有个effortless呢！排除了AC选项后（这两个选项太低级），B选项就能从文章的第二段里推断出来嘛。
