LINKIN PARK小简介(英文)
这是我初中外教课的小短文,我也很喜欢Linkin,希望对你有用...
The year 2006 has been a very special one for me in terms of Linkin Park. The boy set behind me happened to introduce me this band. Unfortunately, I did not pay attention to it until the following year. Since then, I totally immersed in their melodies.
Unlike many other popular bands, their music is not relatively fixed in only one type. Their songs are a melting pot of many different genres, such as Nu-Metal, hip-hop and rock. Most of them have strong sense of rhythm, which can easily get into one’s head. I can hardly do anything else but concentrating on the intensive beats when listening to their songs. This is contributed to Mike, a talent composer, who is half-Asian. I am really proud of him.
Well, my favourite song could be High Voltage. Though I can hardly understand the lyrics. I do love the way Chester(the singer) expresses himself by roaring. No one else is able to imitate such powerful and explosive wild roar. Another one that I am fond of is Hands Held High, a rap by Mike. This one is more poetic and can easily cause empathy with its main theme of environmental problems.
At the mention of Mike, I have to talk about his excellent performance in Fort Minor. There are so many my favourites. Believe me and Remember the Name endow listeners a strong power of will. Right Now and Kenji viewed the social injustice from a cynical view. Feel like home and Back Home are just like twins. Too something.
For Linkin Park, all what matters is that you devote yourself to whatever you like and put all your efforts into it. That is why we rock them. They feel what we feel and express what we think. Hope you can also enjoy LP, enjoy rock’n’roll!

Linkin Park is an American rock band from Agoura Hills, California. Since its formation in 1996, the band has sold more than 50 million albums[2] and won two Grammy Awards.[3][4] It achieved mainstream success with its debut album, Hybrid Theory, which was certified Diamond by the RIAA in 2005.[5] Its following studio album, Meteora, continued the band's success, topping the Billboard 200’s album charts in 2003, and was followed by extensive touring and charity work around the world.[6] In 2003, MTV2 named Linkin Park the sixth greatest band of the music video era.[7]Having adapted the nu metal and rap rock genres to a radio-friendly yet densely-layered style in Hybrid Theory and Meteora,[8][9][10] the band explored other genres in their next studio album, Minutes to Midnight.[11][12] The album topped the Billboard charts and had the third best debut week of any album that year.[13][14] They have also collaborated with several other artists, most notably with rapper Jay-Z in their mashup album Collision Course, and many others on Reanimation.[9] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linkin_Park
